post-vacation
After a long, full day I've settled into the recliner with my feet up. Today was my first day back at work and first day of being officially full-time and consisted of a practice meeting, peer review, client selection for Spring babies, team discussion about some clients, and an unscheduled clinic visit with one of my clients. I came home to make supper, help with homework, fill out school paperwork, feed & water the dishwasher, then we took the kids and dog to do a couple of laps around the dog park.
While I was at work, my dear husband installed a shiny new sink faucet in our bathroom and flushed the sewer vent to help stop our toilets from gurgling with every flush. After I was home he changed the oil in my van, let Charlotte put pink barrettes in his hair, and then watched the sports and DIY channels while he clipped and painted my toenails (as he's done since I was pregnant with Kim nearly 20 years ago). I'm so spoiled, and so grateful that he's man enough to not be bothered by pink barrettes and nail polish!
I have a full day of clinic tomorrow so as soon as my toenails are dry, I'm going to BED. *yawn*
