Last night in the CVICU, probably ever!
Why is it that as soon as I come on to the night float shift, someone in the CVICU tries to bleed out on me? Last night was a post-op heart patient that was pouring out of his chest tube at a rate of about 1200mL per hour. Not sure how many people are still reading this journal since I rarely post now, but I wanna try to update more. We'll see how successful I am considering that I'm in the hospital about 10-12 hours a day. Why did I choose a profession that requires me to wake up at 5 in the morning everyday? Biggest headache of my life right now
I haven't posted for so long now. It's been a hectic past few months. Vascular surgery was tough 'cause my senior resident took a week long vacation and my fellow intern was not the most reliable person to handle the team with.
