Biggest headache of my life right now

I haven't posted for so long now. It's been a hectic past few months. Vascular surgery was tough 'cause my senior resident took a week long vacation and my fellow intern was not the most reliable person to handle the team with. Most of the inpatients we see are either on 3SW or somewhere on one of the NT floors, but basically never the MICU. I made my first trip there last Monday, though, to see someone for breathing technique and... definitely the sickest person I've ever done therapy with. And that includes all of the cancer patients I've worked with. Horrible asthma + COPD + laryngeal spasms. And unfortunately, I could only do so much for her. I more than sympathize that a rotation there is incredibly tough.
