Classes are seeming to go well, though I feel like none of them have the inherent challenge a few did last semester. Today kind of sucked...found out I didn't get the job for next semester I was hoping to, primarily for a reason completely beyond my control. Hopefully I can get the job next fall if I'm still around here...also, I'm leaving tomorrow for a few days, so if I'm a bit late updating this, that's why.

Looks like I'm taking a brief respite from Death by Midterms to talk about the elections last night. The way I see it, there were only two major tragedies that resulted: Russ Feingold, apparently one of the rare congressmen who still had a shred of integrity left, losing to a rich but idiotic Teatard who seems to have no redeeming qualities other ( Read more... )

I've come to the end of an exhausting, but memorable journey, and am now in the vicinity of the school where I'll be spending the next year or so. The trip here took two days, and included a hike, unspeakably beautiful country, and a few small side trips and breaks.
