attempting to quickly bustle a too-long skirt or hold up some ornery stockings? i've found that ironing board cover straps can make a pretty good quick-and-dirty substitute, as long as you're not going to try anything too vigorous, or don't mind chancing them chewing up whatever you're attaching them to. i've found a series of them worked extremely ( Read more... )

I just got the awesomest spats. Worn black leather with buckles, for $6! Philly-area steampunkers, the Army-Navy store at 13th and Chestnut had several more pairs as of this weekend - last seen sitting in a box on the floor in the downstairs vintage/surplus area.
