Hi all,

In order to raise money to benefit recovery efforts in Japan, I'm auctioning off two custom, handmade steampunk items over at help_japan.

The first is a pair of custom fitted Spats patterned from a pair of WWII spats, but made easier to get on and off with the addition of elastic and buttons.

I would like to share with you a project that has been rather large and just as its due date was arriving I became very sick so with limited time i was unable to make all the components :(

now that it seems i'm going to Steampunk World's Fair in May, i'm working with a deadline to cobble together a costume or two. i've got some bits and pieces which set the tone, and today i tried on my latest acquisition.
