I'm GM-ing a game at a convention in February, and I wanted something simple, comfortable, and easy to wear.

I put together this. It's less complicated than I'd normally do, but I can wear it all evening without it getting in my way, and can run around to help out players without tripping or jingling too much.

For your general perusal and bemusement is an 1860's ballgown I made to wear to the Social Daunce Irregulars Jules Verne Ball.
The dress is made out of a vintage gold sari I found at a textile show and is lined with yellow silk. I accessorized the bodice with a steampunk bumblebee pin, but unfortunately I wasn't able to get any good photos of it.
