Godey's Lady's Book Patterns!
Godey's Lady's Book was the Oprah/Ladies' Home Journal/Cosmopolitan magazine of the 1800's.
Fortunately for us, it also had patterns in almost every issue!

Here is an article about "costumes of other nations," http://www.history.rochester.edu/godeys/03-50.htm I posted this as I know that others have posted here, asking for ideas on how to do Russian or Chinese of the 1800's.
