I have this floral fabric and I want to do something Steamy/ Victorian with it, but I'm kind of in a rut on this... I like making skirts and things for myself to wear and I also dabble in Lolita Fashion. I generally like a muted frilly style.

Hi all, long-time lurker, first time poster. I've seen a few exellent Asian-inspired SP outfits and styles here, and I was just wondering if anyone knew of anything in a similar vein but either Ottoman or generally Middle Eastern-inspired? Articles, Photos, Weblinks, whatever you may have :)

I stumbled upon a link which shows various posters from the early 20th century for Japanese Steamship Companies. The art is really beautiful, and the clothing shown may inspire a few who are looking to add an Eastern feel to their Steampunk wardrobe.
