Yesterday I friend who is also a non-professional photograph did a photoshoot with a steampunk/victorian theme in a botanical garden closeby to where I live. This is the result.
I spotted an interesting post on a costuming blog I frequent. Lo and behold it had a fashion plate from the 1880s that had a telegraph themed evening dress that looked oh so steamy. Do take a look at the blog post and see the plate, I'm sure it will inspire.

This is what I wore the first day for presenting my panel. I'm extremely pleased with how curvy the corset pattern turned out. The corset is made from khaki canvas. The skirt (hard to see in the photo) is made from olive and red chenille. I thought it was a suitable garment to wear while telling plus size people they could look gorgeous and well
