I love the steampunk fashion :)
I client asked for a steampunk out fit and this is what i have been working on.
She is keen on red and black, so this is my design she chose.

For what it's worth, Michael's seems to be leaning toward the Victorian/steamy inspired thing as far as ribbons go (I tend to raid the dollar bin a lot, and have found a TON of cute patterns that work well for decorating tiny hats). Here's some incredible spats and shoe decorations from MariaPozo Designs on Etsy. She just recently re-opened her shop, which is both a very good (ooh! shiny!) and bad (how much do I have in my account?) thing. I have a set of a corset and matching spats from her - they are amazing.

How are military gaiters sized? If, for example, I were to buy a pair on eBay marked "Size 3" would they fit me? Is there a sizing chart for these things somewhere?
