So it's come to my attention that I haven't posted anything here in over a month. Things have probably happened since then! So I guess I'll write them down. This will probably get long. It's a ridiculously nice Spring Equinox morning out. I should really get in some more biking this weekend (along with cleaning the bathroom and maybe thinking about doing taxes, bleh). Might need to break out the sunscreen, though.

So most of the excitement at our house lately has involved taking care of a newly-diabetic cat - about which there has been a lot of detail in akiko's journal, so I won't go back over it here. She seems to be doing well at the moment, thank goodness.

I'm using peekfeed.com to deliver summaries of my twitter feed to myself via email, which I'll then use in a more organized attempt to copy and/or expand upon the actually interesting stuff in LJ posts periodically. Ok, so I *saw* Watchmen last night. Now, I read the book probably sometime between five and ten years ago, so I'm not gonna pick up much on picky details. Overall, I thought it was pretty good! The casting in particular seemed spot-on. From the early publicity shots, I was worried that the outfits looked to slick, but I think the acting made up ( Read more... )
