There is a massive update in me on the verge of bursting (think of that scene from Alien where the little alien punches out if that dude's stomach.

So far the name-calling at school has been minimal this week. I am celebrating this small victory (pun intended) by going to rehearsal.

This week has been one that looked busy on paper (as far as work goes), but has't been all that bad in execution. We have a meeting this weekend, so there has been alot of prep for that. It has been a hellishly busy week/weekend. Alright, so maybe hellishly is going a bit too far....but things have been busy, nonetheless. I don't mind being busy when I am busy doing something fun, but when much of the blame belongs to work-themed stuff? Much less exciting.

One of the worst things about getting back in to a routine after a "vacation" is the feeling that I am forgetting to do something - like a meeting or something. I went to Nora and Julie at Simpson last night. Going to the shows there is starting to get odd. I know fewer and fewer people there. Last night was my first night working with this guy on this project at the Des Moines Playhouse. I am running the sound board (I hit play on a cd player and adjust levels, actually).
