Thanks for all the comments on my previous post. They all helped. I finally put up little blue lights outside that look quite nice, along with the extra wreath and the garden decorations I put up. Mom was in good spirits today but a little scattered mentally. The social worker left us a list of resident nursing homes and Mom is fighting the idea of going to one right away. I think the wee one may have pneumonia. Breathing has become very labored. Just going to keep at it and hope we turn this corner. Sigh.

We're home. Can't say I'm thrilled. I came home to a very messy home with a very overgrown yard. Also, all the problems that didn't plague me in Vegas were waiting for me upon my arrival. Today is fired. Time to go to bed so I can get this day behind me.

The day blew chunks and ate the long pig. It's only 8:17 pm on a Friday but I'm putting this bastard to bed. When I wake up it will be tomorrow and that will be a good thing.
