Yesterday was a lovely day. Went to breakfast with my mother at Tom's Farms for blueberry pancakes and bacon. They charge $2.50 for a side of bacon and it is a LOT of bacon! My mom and Gramps came up to Temecula today. We took Gramps to the nail salon. He and I had mani/pedis, and Ma had her first ever professional manicure. At the age of 57. I mean wow. Everyone here is fine, though we only go outside when we have to. We've been advised to stay inside and run the A/C, because of the air quality. My mom and grandfather are about 40 minutes away. They had to go north to San Juan Capistrano before they could come east. They will be spending the night here - the spare bedrooms are going to come in handy tonight. I heard that my grandmother is at an evacuation center somewhere on Camp Pendleton. On the San Diego County emergency website it says: "Partial evacuation: all residents of Fallbrook, north of Highway 76 and west of Interstate 15 to evacuate the community.
