The kids are going home tonight. As much as I love the Veggie Tales, I am content not to hear any of their Silly Songs again for two weeks. (At least). And I could use a little decompression time. Jimmy has won: I brought home a loaf of white bread last night.

Selah's downstairs enjoying her allotted one hour of daily television viewing, (Dora the Explorer and Go, Diego, Go!), and barking.

Aieee! I got Selah's hair bobbed, and I can't take a picture because the battery in my camera is dead. Aieee!

I also got my oil changed and my car washed, two things long, long, long overdue. Gosh, I feel pretty damn good now.

I saw Selah's hair had a snarl in it, so I asked her to bring me the detangling spray and the brush. Selah came in to inform me that she finished her "breakfast lunch." Hrm.

Selah just made a lighthouse out of Legos. A lighthouse. I didn't even think she knew what a lighthouse was. Could it be that she remembered that I love lighthouses?
