*blink, flutter*

The kids' grandfather, Ken, sent the girls home last weekend with a new toy: a V Smile Pocket. Bless that man. I'd kiss him right on the lips except ... EWWWWW! *ptui* *ptui*

Because Selah's playing with it, she hasn't made a PEEP since the other kids left for school. (And normally that's what it sounds like around here between the hours of 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. - "Peep peep-peep peep-peep-why-you're-not-listening-to-me-PEEP?!") Between that and the new Dora the Explorer videos he sent along, I may actually get some peace this morning, something I desperately need after last night's exhausting revels.

Y'all should have seen yesterday's outfits. I didn't slow down long enough to take their picture, but the girls dressed themselves with absolutely no imput from me yesterday, and it was blinding. Selah was wearing a bright horizontally-striped rainbow turtleneck with a pair of culottes that were one of the only colors not represented in the shirt: lavender. With a pair of hot pink socks. Then later she wet her pants and changed into the vertically striped peach-and-pink pastel pants that have been pictured here before. Even better! Rachel picked out a black and white flowered top, paired that with a pair of capris with a different floral print in navy blue, white, and hot pink. She wore teal socks. Yowza!

I missed Heroes last night. D'oh! But I can watch it online, right?
