Well, we had a lovely day. Great food and very wonderful wine.

We watched a number of funny and light movies or shows such as One Foot In The Algarve, Last Christmas and The Holiday.

Tomorrow, it will be cold meats, chutney and more pigs in blankets. Plus more wine.

Hope you all had a good Christmas day.

I had planned to go to London today but one of the companies I work for cocked things up. So, it will be Wednesday, which is fine because I can do three visits tomorrow, starting with a charity shop visit in Beckenham, then an excellent visit to the Courtauld Art Gallery in the Strand. Sometimes it is difficult as what to write about especially when the minutiae of everyday life can be boring. However, if there is a twist on the everyday thing that can be gleamed on as something different then I am all for it. It has been a rather windy day despite being quite sunny on the whole. I have been listening to some of the CDs from my collection. Most of the music played in the morning was of the world music variety such as gnawa music and qawwali and then some ambient, drone, and industrial sounds for the afternoon ( Read more... )

Well, the final charity shop visit for this month has been completed. I took an early trip yesterday to get to Beckenham in the suburbia of Greater London and not far from Bromley.
It was a gloriously sunny day for the visit, a cool 25C with a nice breeze.

I picked up two books for my gift-aid item and non -gift aid item.
