Although I left it late to go out - midday actually - I managed to complete two mystery shops today. One in Gravesend and the other in Strood.

I am now winning my way home.

I was going to do a visit to Strood today. I have deferred it to Friday.

It's raining hard. It was forecasted anyway but the next few days will be dry and sunny.

So, at the moment, I'm in my local pub, having had the traditional breakfast and now enjoying a beer.

Tomorrow I will leave early as I have visits in Maidstone, Tonbridge and Tunbridge

I forgot to do a morning post, but it is not the first time it has happened recently. The thing is, I have been busy focused on other things such as completing these visits or dealing with the selling sie of my ventures ( Read more... )

It was another productive day. Three charity shop visits completed in Canterbury, Herne Bay and Whitstable. I was back in Faversham around three and perused the vinyl in Saturnalia. I bought an LP for eighteen pounds in the sale. I had the album on CD when it first came out back in the nineties but was not on vinyl until 2022.  It is also in ( Read more... )

The last two mystery shops for this month are now completed. It was an early start to get to Beckenham for the first visit. I was up at five and on the train towards London at 6:30 AM. I walked out of the charity shop with a hardback book and two CDs.

I am already here in South East London. The suburb known as Beckenham. The charity shop opens at nine. Having a coffee in a cafe at the moment.

The three visits are now complete. Coffee and snacks consumed. Reports finished.

On the way home. Well, still in Maidstone but the town is clogged with traffic. My connecting bus service to Faversham will be late so I expect to arrive home around six

Finally, after a few dull days, it is sunny again.

So, folks, I am heading off to Maidstone for three covert hospital visits: two coffee shops and an outlet for a delicious sandwich.

I was going to do it on Thursday. Might as well do it now.

Arrived at my brother's pad last night just after six. We had pizza for dinner washed down with Merlot vino. Then a large quantify of whisky afterwards.

Feel slightly tired but now after a wash I feel much more refreshed.
