I am in my local pub. Just had the large breakfast and a mocha coffee. I am now full.

Traveling to Brighton today. Catching the ten o'clock bus this morning. It is currently a crisp sunny day of around 7C.

Hopefully, it will be a good journey.

It was a great aftrnoon with my mate Phil. I arrived in the pub at around ten to four and he appeared half an hour later. We discussed quite a lot, as we do, some work related stuff (since he is a chef) , items on television or what we watched, and putting the world to right ( Read more... )

I was going to do a visit to Strood today. I have deferred it to Friday.

It's raining hard. It was forecasted anyway but the next few days will be dry and sunny.

So, at the moment, I'm in my local pub, having had the traditional breakfast and now enjoying a beer.

Tomorrow I will leave early as I have visits in Maidstone, Tonbridge and Tunbridge

It was another productive day. Three charity shop visits completed in Canterbury, Herne Bay and Whitstable. I was back in Faversham around three and perused the vinyl in Saturnalia. I bought an LP for eighteen pounds in the sale. I had the album on CD when it first came out back in the nineties but was not on vinyl until 2022.  It is also in ( Read more... )

Another day of some light reading and then listening to some awesome music. I walked into town midday to get some items for dinner. I also wanted to check out the market as well. The usual food market people weren't there, so I saunted down to the supermarket for provisions ( Read more... )

Just completed a mystery shop in my home town. Another charity shop of course. Bought an LP and two books from there.

I also purchased an LP from Saturnalia.

I just finished lunch in Spoons.
I had sausage and mash with a pint of Leffe Blond.

Awaiting the arrival of Phil for a chat and more drinks.

I went to Canterbury to sell some records at Vinylman Jr. in Castle Street. This was the second occasion I visited the store and last time received £25 for a good few. This time I had 33 Lps and left them with him for a quote. I have not received the quote yet, but I suspect he was busy and phone me tomorrow or I will contact him. I am hoping to ( Read more... )
