That was a mixed kind of day but full of shock and surprises. The first shock is that my colleague in the quiz team was ill. He rarely gets ill. Most of the day was spent relaxing. I slept in as well.

However, I did pop into town to connect with my mate, Phil, former landlord of the Dover Castle Inn, Teynham.

I also posted two albums that I sold on eBay.

We had a few beers, chatted, and then he dropped me home.

Dinner was a large cod with chips from the local chip shop.

A quiet day spent at home.
However i did walk to town to meet Phil for drinks at four.
We had a great chat.
He drove me home at seven.
Dinner was steak and chorizo pie with mash and peas.

I had planned to go to London today but one of the companies I work for cocked things up. So, it will be Wednesday, which is fine because I can do three visits tomorrow, starting with a charity shop visit in Beckenham, then an excellent visit to the Courtauld Art Gallery in the Strand.
