It was another productive day. Three charity shop visits completed in Canterbury, Herne Bay and Whitstable. I was back in Faversham around three and perused the vinyl in Saturnalia. I bought an LP for eighteen pounds in the sale. I had the album on CD when it first came out back in the nineties but was not on vinyl until 2022.  It is also in ( Read more... )

Monday is always quiz night telly-wise for me. After the three shows finished I normally watch something else.

Not tonight. I decided to listen to the Dvorak box set and listen to number eight, followed by the famous number nine.

This morning, I left around eight to visit the supermarket just outside of Whitstable. Actually, Chestfield to be precise. It was the only job I had to do, although I did pick up an LP from HMV in their sale ( Read more... )

It has been less wonderful weatherwise. More cloudy and not quite as warm.
I had a load of stuff arrive in the post midday, and one item to give to the postman. That latter item was an LP I sold on Discogs.

So, I have been listening to some of these newly obtained albums most of the day.

Today I tried to do a covert shop to a charity store in Paddock Wopd but they were closed. However, took a couple of pics, and phoned my supervisor, and I will still get paid for the job, and for getting there.

I then headed back to Tonbridge and looked around the chazzers. Bought this lot for eight quid total. Decent haul I say.

I was going to Ashford today but the bus going to the town did not turn up, So, I stayed in my local town and bought a CD from Creekside Vinyl. The latest CD purchase is by Anohni (who used to be Antony) of the Johnsons but he has transgendered and given themself a new name.
