Wednesday Wanderings
The last two mystery shops for this month are now completed. It was an early start to get to Beckenham for the first visit. I was up at five and on the train towards London at 6:30 AM. I walked out of the charity shop with a hardback book and two CDs.
I then caught the train back from beckenham to Orpington to get the 477 bus to Bluwater and then a 480 bus to Gravesend. It was there I did my second mystery shop. Bought two more paperbacks from that visit.
So far, everything was smooth. I caught the train to Gilligham to check out the Medway Record Centre. They had some jazz LPs going for five quid a pop. So I picked up one by Sonny Rollins and the other by Yusef Lateef.
Once completed, I caught the bus to Sittigbourne, which arrived slightly late, and when I reached Sittigbourne I thought I had just a fifteen minute wait for my last bus home. That one from Maidstone was cancelled. That 15:10 bus did not turn up! Had to wait for the 16:22 bus to get home. I was quite furious.
Anway, as from tomorrow it will be leisure all the way until Saturday.
