Finally, after a few dull days, it is sunny again.

So, folks, I am heading off to Maidstone for three covert hospital visits: two coffee shops and an outlet for a delicious sandwich.

I was going to do it on Thursday. Might as well do it now.

I went to Ramsgate to do a mystery shop in a charity shop. Picked up an LP, a book, and a glass designed for the whisky drinker. I then walked to Island Vintage on the High Street. It is a treasure trove of used vinyl at reasonable or bargain prices!

I picked up a Steve Coleman record from there.

It felt like a long day but it was very productive. Despite not getting up early enough I did complete two visits , one in Folkestone and the other in Chatham - which are in opposite directions from Faversham. The only way to do this was to use the trains, and I was lucky enough to get a free ride down to Dover and then a bus to Folkestone ( Read more... )

I do not fancy traveling in that weather at all

At least my bro is very happy with it

We will have fish and chips again on Wednesday. Today it's cold meats, pigs in blankets, cheese board and more wine
