So I seem to have hit a hell of a patch of poison ivy or something. I noticed yesterday? That there was a black mark on my arm. Today I had to work so Ryther went to pick up my sculpture from the show. All good things do have to come to an end I guess. I didn't break in all that time, one whisker bent, but that's fine. Biv was sick today. Stomach bug this time*

I got 4 truckloads of leaves picked up, even though I myself am not feeling exactly tip top. But suck it up I did. Well, not the leaves.. Though I do wish we had a leaf sucker.

I noticed a lot of the two year old maples (well, they aren't two years old, they were planted two years ago, but they are probably about 15 or so) at the train station are turning orange. Ted Kennedy's funeral will take place as Danny Boy rains down on us. Also in Weymouth will be another huge funeral for a local police officer killed on duty by an elderly driver. For that they are shutting down part of Rt. 18, so beware. Glad we don't have either funeral ( Read more... )

I got Biv on the riding mower today. The plan was for both of us to mow, but the other rider wouldn't start. Dead battery? It started just a couple of weeks ago after the winter, and ran for about 10 minutes. Got to find the trickle charger. See if that does it ( Read more... )
