Yesterday we had a long walk (long for us)...  about 1.3 miles there and 1.3 miles back...  to go see Dunstanburgh Castle on the coast of Northumberland.  You'd have thought someone would've built a road, but no...  you have to walk...  but it was nice by the coast.  Sheep and cows on the way, too.  Some pix:

Today we took Adam to a friend's house and bottle-fed their two young lambs.

Unrelated to that, I stayed overnight in Glasgow last night as I was working up there.

So, we drove down on Friday afternoon. Braithwaite's only about an hour and a half south of where we live. Tess was in the back in a brand new cage. She doesn't travel very well... likes to go places but just can't relax in the car. So she did her best to wreck her new cage by biting and bending the metal bars... ended up with a bloody beak ( Read more... )

What happened about 5 years ago in November 2005 ?  In the continuing chronicle of my life, here's what happened:

- Cleared out Aunt Irene's house.  She died in late Ocober 2005.

- I start using entry tags in my Livejournal blog.
