We had a nice anniversary trip... just up the road overnight at a place near Thornhill... at a country house hotel. We had champagne in our room, then another bottle of champagne for dinner. Not sparkling wine or cava, either... fairly expensive champagne. But what the hey, you only celebrate 25 years every... 25 years.

We had a two night stay up in the Highlands this past weekend, to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary.  We stayed back at the place we honeymooned 19 years ago... at an Inn midway between Loch Ness and Skye.  It was a very nice weekend.

It was Linda's big 60th birthday yesterday. We had a nice dinner at Little Italy with Jenny, Andy and the kids. Champagne later on.

So, we drove down on Friday afternoon. Braithwaite's only about an hour and a half south of where we live. Tess was in the back in a brand new cage. She doesn't travel very well... likes to go places but just can't relax in the car.
