Wanted to mention that Jenny and family are all down in the Lake District with Robert, James, and their families for an inter - Xmas - New Year gathering.... in a place all together west of Penrith somewhere.

Spa day for Jenny was yesterday... which was a birthday present for her. She's coming up on 40 years old in a few days.

I need to go to Ulverston tomorrow (Friday) AS WELL AS Monday for work.

We were watching a show on Bannockburn tonight. They were reading from the Lanercost Chronicle, so I got this little snippet from it, on the internet.

My job has me starting to go to Ulverston in southern Cumbria every Monday now for the next few weeks to teach a class (Electrical Technology). A bit of a hassle I can do without... especially as it takes away from marking and prep time for my other classes ( Read more... )

Actually worse today and am off work... which was a training day in Workington. Not sure going to work tomorrow is on the cards because I am, as I said, even worse today.

I tested for Covid, and it still came up negative.

I tested several days ago and only tested again today, for Covid.... Negative again on the test, despite being ill and despite Linda previously testing positive.

I'm supposed to go back to work tomorrow, but it's a training day down in Workington.... I can't see myself going and spreading my germs around.

Last week I did some teaching remotely to apprentices based in Ulverston... Now the assessments are coming in and I'll have to mark them.

This was due to a tutor down there who wasn't doing his job properly... without going into too much detail... So the apprentices needed to repeat a unit in a hurry.

The guy responsible has just resigned.

People have started to leave my company... unhappy people.... I've thought about it too.

My old boss just quit, and a colleague from the department down in Workington... I think people higher up need to go, frankly.

It's been hotter than normal lately. UK records were broken the other day. Today was quite hot, but yesterday seemed cooler.

I had to go down to Workington to teach Business Improvement Techniques.... again.

Andy turned 40 yesterday. We all went out to a restaurant in Dumfries and had Italian Food. Then back to theirs for some cake made out of troberlarones. Did I spell that right?

Today, and last Friday, I've been going to Workington to teach Business Improvement Techniques. All about Lean Manufacturing. Kind of up my alley.
