To Ulverston
My job has me starting to go to Ulverston in southern Cumbria every Monday now for the next few weeks to teach a class (Electrical Technology). A bit of a hassle I can do without... especially as it takes away from marking and prep time for my other classes.
I'm looking forward to retirement at some point... but I might hold out a little longer to see if my workplace has any changes in the next year or so. Would rather get paid off than quit. I'm 58, so not quite to retirement age... But nearly. Don't get a state pension until 65 or so... so a couple years to go.
An old friend on Facebook who is my age has just yesterday retired, tho.
Another old friend I just found out has died. I prefer retirement.
