The ultrasound, it turns out, was more abdominal than I expected.

I had requested an AAA test... which is for abdominal aortic aneurysm. The clue is in the name, but for some reason I was expecting more in the heart area ... but it was an ultrasound in the abdomen.

I am working from home today... but also thinking about the various things that need to get done around the house before our visitors arrive later this week.

I need to check the play room and touch up or repaint anything that needs it. Then put the furniture back where it belongs.

On Monday we have a guy coming in to clean the rug and the sofa, etc.

This one is for my brother, who died less than a year ago. Brian was a Pink Floyd music fan. When he died, some of the music at his service was Pink Floyd... this one, in particular, unless I'm mistaken. I just wanted to thank you for the email. Yes, the file for Brian's memorial video was very big. It took our computer a while to show it all too.

Deb has made arrangements for Brian. We were going to be there with them in Massachusetts, fly over... but instead we will just do it virtually.

The plan is to later meet in Arizona with Deb and the boys, at my father and Darlene. This will be in March. We then will go to Washington state and scatter some ashes in my mother's grave there.

I lit a candle just now and then went to throw the wooden match into a candle jar as I was hoping to light both with the single match.

Just before dropping the match in the jar, I noticed a little tiny flame already in the jar, getting bigger. I dropped the match in, the flame grew a bit and it joined with the match flame... then both went out ( Read more... )

I asked my father if he remembered us going to Radio City Music Hall in 1969 to see The Love Bug. he wrote:

"Yes, I remember, it was Radio City Music Hall. Most likely 1969 as they showed first run movies. You saw the Pipe Organ, the Rocketts, and the movie all for $4.95. We went to New York several times seeing all the sites."
