Another song to put into my own personal Song Hall of Fame.... It's "Hey Bulldog" by the Beatles

So, I was always a Beatles fanatic. This particular song is from the Yellow Submarine animated film. I used to plunk out this little song on the keyboard when I was young.

It gets quite exuberant. And they bark at the end.

So… I have a list of albums that I guess are my favourites. When an album has enough HoF songs on it, after reaching a certain threshold, then it goes onto this magical list of albums.

This song has an emotional effect on me, a bit. For some reason, I started associating it with someone who recently died... someone who I knew in childhood, who I heard died of cancer a while back. Died far too young.

I, of course, have a list of favourite songs which I call my Song Hall of Fame.

I also have a short list of albums (about half a dozen now) which grow slowly as they get multiple songs on my SHoF list.... If they get about 6 or 7 songs inducted over time, then the album goes on my album list ( Read more... )

Sad about our guinea pig that died.

Found her yesterday sort of squeezed into a confined space between the back of their little house and the gate... dead.
