I was fined for exceeding the speed limit in France. Finally got an email from the French Authorities about it (after previously getting emails about it from the rental car company).

Anyway, just paid it by bank transfer a few moments ago. One of those things that clogs up my mind until it's finally dealt with. It wasn't a big fine, at least.

Last week, Saturday evening, we flew back from CDG airport Paris... into Manchester, and the drive back up home.

Tuesday night we went to Edinburgh to see a lecture tour (book tour) with Henry Winkler.

We aren't really city people... too many crowds, too much walking around, too much traffic.

We had an OK time in Paris seeing the sights, but I think we both enjoyed outside of the city better... which we spent most of our holiday... outside of the city.

It would've been a shame not to have seen the sights of Paris, tho.
