Linda had an endoscopy this morning.

Yesterday I built two new guinea pig hutches for the shed, in preparation for the winter.

Last week, Linda and I took Ayla up to Bannockburn for an overnight trip. We saw the battlefield, museum, equestrian statue of Robert the Bruce.... then we went to Dunfermline Abbey to see his burial site.

We decided to go up to Holyrood in Edinburgh again today (second weekend in a row). Used our year-long tickets for the final time... Walked around the gardens, which we didn't do last time as it was raining. The rain held off this time. Also walked around Edinburgh a bit

Coverage of the queue and of people paying their respects to the Queen have been non-stop, of course, on TV. We've been watching it.

We'll also be watching tomorrow, the coverage of the funeral. It's a bank holiday for the nation. Most everything will be closed. It's expected to be one of, if not the most, watched television events in history.
