Quick note to say Sunday's McCartney concert was great. We had a really nice time. I've got a few pictures I might post here later.

The best part was that two seats right next to us were vacant for some reason.... so we had loads of space... Stood the whole time.

Taxi to and from worked out good, too.

We are going to Manchester on Sunday to see Paul McCartney in concert. We have good seats (aka expensive seats) only five rows back from the stage.

I booked a place to stay in Chorley, which is northwest of Manchester, outside of the city (so less expensive), and thinking it'd be convenient enough just to drive and park at the concert car park.... ( Read more... )

Jenny and Andy are down in London at a Green Day concert. We are taking care of the kids this weekend.

We're watching Mamma Mia... Adam is at Youth Beatz in town...

Linda and I took the girls and bought a new mattress today, which is something we need. Our old one is passed its best now.

Still need to catch up and report what we did in France last week.

But one thing we did, on Wednesday, was go online into a queue of 23,000 plus.... To almost fail, but ultimately succeeded in getting...

Paul McCartney tickets for December in Manchester ! Wow !

I haven't spoken to her yet, but Linda says Ayla and her dad enjoyed the Taylor Swift concert last night in Edinburgh...

They went up with Jenny, but only had two tickets, so Jenny went to visit Lisa up there while they were at the show. Andy had gotten the tickets from a work colleague and unfortunately there were just two.

Tomorrow Ayla is going to the Taylor Swift concert in Edinburgh with her dad.

Andy has acquired Taylor Swift tickets from a colleague... Ayla is a very big Taylor Swift fan... so they'll be going to the concert in Edinburgh in June.

Another of "our songs" for induction into the Uber SHoF.... Don't Talk (Put Your Head on My Shoulder) as performed by Brian Wilson in his Pet Sounds Live concert...

About 20 years ago, we went to a few Brian Wilson concerts, and this was a special moment during Pet Sounds.
