Summary: Yuto made Yuri cry and he went to Yamada.
When Yamada heard a click from the door, he looked up from his manga to find a teary-eye Yuri, biting his lower lip and playing with the hem of his shirt, trying the best to not cry.
He put his manga away immediately and motioned for Yuri to go over.
"Doushita?"
He shifted slightly on his bed and let Yuri climb onto it.
Yuri curled up beside him and leaned against him, letting Yamada wrap his arms around him and start to pat him gently.
He calmed down but he was still forcing himself not to cry. It seemed stupid to cry over something like that.
Yamada didn't probe further when Yuri didn't reply, he simply stroke Yuri's hair gently as Yuri lay against his chest, the both of them leaning against the bed frame.
"Ryo..Ryo-chan."
Yuri choked and the tears he was holding back fell.
"Hmm?"
"Yu..yuto. He.."
"Shhh. Don't cry Yuri, daijoubu."
"He appeared in front of me with a huge bug!"
Yamada paused in his action but quickly went back to stroking his hair.
"He what?!"
"It... it was dangling in front of me. Wriggling and struggling to get out of Yuto's fingers. It's... disgusting."
Yuri frowned and Yamada smiled.
He could imagine Yuto smiling with the bug in his hand and Yuri freaking out with it dangling in front of him.
"Daijoubu daijoubu~ I'll scold him later k?"
Yuri shook his head.
"It's.. not Yuto's fault actually."
Yamada laughed.
They fell silent with Yuri still snuggling to Yamada and with Yamada's arms still around him and stroking his hair in a slow rhythm.
"Ryo-chan?"
"Hmm?"
Yamada stopped when Yuri shifted slightly so that he could face Yamada.
"How long will this last?"
"This?"
"Us."
Yamada relaxed and smiled lovingly at Yuri. The way he asked the question showed that he had been thinking about it for a long time. It also showed Yamada that, he had been holding back the question for long.
"Forever Yuri. Eien ni."
"Hontou?"
Yamada nodded and kissed him gently on the forehead.
"As long as you want me, I'll be here."
"Always?"
"Hai~"
"Whenever I need you?"
"Mochiron."
Yuri looked uncertain and Yamada pulled him into a hug.
"I promise I'll love you forever Yuri. Dakara, zutto ni soba ni iru kara."
Yamada released him and gaze at Yuri. His eyes are full of love and that made Yuri calm down. He could see the love in Yamada's eyes. The love for him. Yamada was gazing at Yuri so gently and so full of love that he couldn't resist leaning in and kissing Yamada on the lips.
He wrapped his arms around Yamada's neck as their lips met and Yamada hugged him back.
He kissed Yuri back, to prove it to Yuri, to show it him how much he loves him and when they broke apart a while later, they were both gasping for air.
Yuri was finally smiling, the tears in his eyes gone and the unsettling feeling in his heart disappeared.
Yamada smiled back and Yuri brightened up.
He leaned over and pinched his cheeks, earning a smack on his hands.
"Itai yo."
Yuri grinned.
Yamada was complaining but he wasn't showing any sign that he hates it.
He worried too much. He should be confident. He should trust Yamada.
He shouldn't have thought too much.
Everyone could see Yamada's love for him. He could feel it too. The love that's so strong.
So why did he worry?
Yuri have no idea. There was this unsettling feeling in his heart that grew into worry when he thought more about it.
Maybe, it was the hurt he felt when Yuma left him.
Maybe, he just wasn't sure about himself and about their relationship.
Yuri had no idea.
But he was sure that he didn't want those pain again. He doubt he could survive another break up.
And that made him think, made him imagine all sorts of situations, causing him to worry.
But everything's fine now.
Because Yamada is here with him. Because right now, he's filled with happiness. Because right now, he's in Yamada's arms.
