Summary: Yuri had a date with Yuma but invited Yamada along.
Yamada woke up and found Yuri already awake, apparently preparing to go out. He watched as he lie in bed, Yuri moving around trying to get the things he's bringing and also deciding on what to wear.
"Ah. Ohayo, Yama-chan~"
He seemed to be in a good mood.
"Ohayo~"
Yamada mumbled back and got up from his bed, heading towards the toilet to brush his teeth and wash up.
He exited the bathroom to find Yuri standing excitedly at the door, waiting for him.
He held up two shirts and placed it against himself one by one.
Yamada smiled and pointed at the one on the left, a button up shirt that is long sleeved.
"Arigatou~"
He threw the other one back into his closet and took off his top, changing into the one Yamada has chosen.
"Doko iku no?"
Yamada asked as he took the jeans away from Yuri's hands and grab another one and passed it to Yuri, folding the other one and placing it back nicely.
Yuri smiled at him.
"Shopping~" He replied with a sing song tune.
"With Yuma?"
"Hai~"
He should've known. Yuri is such in good mood, who else could it be?
He watched as Yuri changed into the jeans and stood in front in Yamada.
Yamada nodded and ruffled his hair.
He went and stood in front of the mirror, styling his hair.
Suddenly, he turned around to Yamada, who was looking at him.
"Wanna come?"
"Eh?"
"We can go shopping together~ It'll be fun!"
Yamada doubt that but he smiled back at Yuri as he turned back to style his hair.
He wondered if he should go.
Agreeing means hurting himself as he would spend the whole day watching Yuri and Yuma being all lovey dovey. Can he take it?
But.. it probably won't be that bad as he could spend time with Yuri too.
"Dou?"
Yuri finished styling his hair and went to him.
Yamada looked at him and nodded, a little hesitant.
"Yatta!"
Yuri beamed at him and hugged him tight before going to search for something for Yamada to wear.
Yamada laughed and went over with him.
He changed and then let Yuri do his hair for him before they went downstairs together.
"Going out?"
Yabu was watching tv with Inoo with a few other members slacking around in the living room.
"Hai!"
Yuri went off with Yamada following him, they left after putting on their shoes.
"Itekimasu!"
They both shouted as they left the house and heard the others reply "Iterashai!" back.
Yuma was waiting outside and he greeted Yuri with a kiss on the forehead.
Yamada stayed back, waiting for them to finish with whatever they were doing.
"Yamada-kun?"
"Ah, can he come with us?"
Yuma looked at Yuri and hesitated. He wanted the day to be for just the two of them only, but since Yuri had already asked him, he guess he couldn't disagree.
He nodded and Yuri smiled, kissing him on his cheek.
Yuma blushed and Yamada watched all that by the side, keeping his heartache to himself.
"Ikou~"
The mall was near and they could just walk over.
Yamada trailed behind them, not wanting to interrupt or anything.
He stuck his hands in his back pocket and walked quietly behind.
Yuri stopped in his track, pausing in his conversation with Yuma. He noticed that Yamada was missing.
Turning around, he found him walking alone behind, staring at the ground.
"Yama-chan?"
Yamada looked up at Yuri's call and gave him a question mark look.
Yuri gestured for him to go up to them and held out his hand.
Yamada looked at it and then at Yuma.
Why not?
Moving closer to them, he let Yuri link his arms through his and walked beside him.
Yuri smiled at him and he felt much better.
They reached the mall and went random shopping inside.
Yuri broke off his link with Yamada when Yuma pulled him into a shop that sells guys clothing.
Grabbing a shirt hanging on the wall, Yuma placed it in front of Yuri and looked at him.
"Suits you!"
"Hontou?"
He took the shirt and stood in front of the mirror, checking his reflection.
Turning to Yamada, who was loitering behind them, he asked for his opinion.
Yamada shook his head and looked around, grabbing another shirt and passing it to him.
Yuma looked at him as Yuri placed the shirt he passed him back onto the wall and took Yamada's.
Somehow, Yuri seemed to trust Yamada's choice more than his. Feeling slightly unhappy, he followed Yuri and Yamada as they went to the changing room.
Yuri came out with the new shirt on and they nodded in approval.
"Hontou? Should I buy it?"
"I'll.."
"I'll buy it for you."
Yamada cut off Yuma's words as he walked closer to Yuri, placing his hands on his shoulders and looking at his reflection from behind.
Yuri smiled at him from the mirror and went back in to change.
Yamada paid for the shirt and held onto the bag when Yuri held out his hand for it.
"I'll carry it for you."
"Arigatou~"
They continued shopping and Yamada started to trail behind again, somehow consumed in his own thoughts as he watched the couple in front shopping happily.
It's enough. He should stop now. Since the start of the day, he had been trying to get in between them. He can't stop himself and it's not exactly his fault. He was jealous and the jealousy made him do all those things.
A little guilty but that was all. He's not really sorry that he had done what he did. He's only doing justice to himself.
Sometimes, love is selfish.
