Summary: Yuto talked to Yamada about Yuri and he overheard part of their conversation...
Yuri gave up observing Yamada. His thought aren't getting anywhere anyway and he gave up, deciding that it was just a dream that he had. It was true that he was half asleep and that's why making it possible. Yuri just refused to believe that Yamada really did said that. The lack of prove and his observation led him to his decision.
Yuto waited for Yamada to walk pass his room before pulling him in and shutting the door.
"Uwaaa!!"
"Shhhh! Yama-chan."
"Yuto?"
Yuto caught Yamada and prevented him from falling by tripping on the things lying on the floor.
"Ah, gomen ne. Keito has been asking me to clear that up for days and I still haven't."
He smiled sheepishly and Yamada pat him on the shoulder.
"Why did you drag me in?"
Yuto scratched his head.
“Eto.. I figured I should talk to you about it."
"About what?"
"About Chii."
"What?!"
Yuto nodded and guided Yamada over to the small sofa in the corner of the room. They both sat down and Yuto adjusted his position a little so that he could face Yamada.
"When.. are you going to tell him?"
"Tell who what?"
Yamada looked away from Yuto sharp gaze and stared at the objects lying on the floor.
"Don't act dumb Yama-chan. I know."
Yamada didn't reply and Yuto sighed.
"You like Chii."
Yamada snapped his head back and stared at Yuto.
"How did you know?"
Yuto raised his eyebrows.
"Like everyone in JUMP don't? You're too obvious Yama-chan. I think only Chii hadn't realise it yet."
"Demo! Demo..."
Yamada stuttered. He thought he hid his feelings well. He didn't tell anyone, so it couldn't be a secret leak. Was he that obvious?
"I think you should try."
"Demo..."
"Are you scared that he'll reject you?"
Yamada nodded, shocked that Yuto could read his thoughts so easily. Well, he was Yamada's best friend for a reason. They had known each other for years. Yuto could tell what Yamada was thinking with just a look at his face.
"Well.. I can't be sure about that but look at me and Keito! If I hadn't gather the courage to confess to him, we wouldn't be together now!"
"True.. but.."
"And it was you that encouraged me to!"
"But that was because I could see that you both love each other! I was sure of it! But.. Chii.."
Yamada looked down and fiddled with the hem of his shirt. Yuri love Yuma, that was certain. Everyone could see it and even though Yuma's gone now, Yuri's love can't be gone so easily right? He had been hurt so much when Yuma left and Yamada couldn't be sure.
He's not confident at all and if his confession makes his relationship with Yuri awkward and bad, wouldn't that be really awful?
"Just try Yama-chan. You wouldn't know if you don't."
"But.. I'm fine with the current situation."
Yamada was being stubborn and Yuto knew it. He knew Yamada was afraid, afraid of the outcome, afraid of being rejected but he couldn't bear to see Yamada like this. He knew Yamada was hurting when Yuri was with Yuma. He could still see Yamada's pain from time to time when Yuri was crying for Yuma.
As for Yuri, he couldn't be exactly sure but he was sure Yuri doesn't hate Yamada. He had relied on Yamada for so long, that kind of trust, there must be some extent of love from Yuri to trust Yamada fully. And seeing how Yuri act around Yamada, there must be a certain amount of liking from Yuri towards Yamada.
"Just try."
"No."
"Yama-chan..."
"No, Yuto, I won't."
"Demo.."
"I've love him for so long and if I can manage until now, I think I don't need to rush it."
"Because you took that long which is why you need to confess now!"
"I can't do it!"
"Try Yama-chan. Gather the courage to do it."
Yamada sighed and shook his head. He appreciate Yuto's concern in this, he know he cared for him. But this kind of thing can't be rushed. If Yuri rejected him, it'll be awkward and they are sharing a room. Wouldn't it be weird?
He can't do it now, not when he's not sure of it.
Yuri stayed by the door and listened to their conversation. He was looking for Yamada and had found himself directed to Yuto's room.
He didn't knock and simply pushed the door open but he stopped when he heard voices coming out of the room.
He hadn't heard his name, all he heard was that Yamada is in love with someone.
Who?
Yuri wondered if that person they were discussing were him. He can't help but remembered that night when he overheard Yamada's confession.
So that's not a dream?
Yuri was confused, really confused. He left the door open and left, heading back to his room. Plopping down on his bed, he thought of the times he spent with Yamada.
Yamada had always been really nice to him. Cooking for him and helping him with choosing his clothes.
He'll always let Yamada dry his hair for him and sometimes comb and style his hair when he's lazy to do so.
Yamada always had a smile for him, his hugs when he needed them were also given generously.
Yamada was never selfish to him and always had his arms open for him when he went to him.
Yamada always pampered him, he was so gentle to him and so nice to him.
Maybe.. just maybe.. Yamada really did love him.
Yuri smacked himself. How could he not realise it until now?
It was so obvious! Now that he think of it, Yamada had always been paying extra attention to him. Always making sure that he is comfortable and having fun.
Yuri blamed himself. He had been ignoring Yamada's feelings for so long and he could imagine how hard it is on Yamada's side.
How could he be so stupid! It was so obvious! There were signs of it from time to time and he didn't manage to get it.
Yuri sighed. Now that he knew it, how is he suppose to face Yamada?
