Well it isn't my fault she is in pain.  We thought her bad hip was her left one-the one she has been favoring, but according to the vet it was her right hip that she had surgery on.  It isn't her hips at all but calcifications on her back.  It won't get any better but we can slow down the progression and ease her pain somewhat.  Right now she is on ( Read more... )

Today is no computer day or family fun day as we call it, so I am sneaking this in before the boys get home from CCD or Tom & Elle get up.  I am looking forward to it but with Tom sick I'm not sure how it will go.  He has been getting worse all week but Friday and Saturday were the worst.  He was asleep more than awake yesterday.  He won't go to ( Read more... )

Yesterday was nice.  I would have posted it then but we did a no electronics day.  No video games, tv or computer.  We decided Sundays would be family day.  I usually make a big breakfast after CCD, and the boys wanted to try what I did as a kid and have a sundae party, we did it on Saturdays but we thought a sundae on Sunday thing might be fun.  ( Read more... )

Thomas came home today with a note from his teacher.

"To whom it may concern
Thomas has had meltdowns for the past two weeks.  His behavior up to that point was fabulous.  These last two weeks, Thomas has yelled at me, cried, sat in his seat and would do No work  for me.  I do not know why this change has occured.  I thought you should know.

I am so happy they didn't call school today.  Today is only the second day in 2 weeks that the boys have been to school.  They were driving me crazy!  I know it was more stir crazy with them; bored, over tired, stuck inside, of course the fact that Thomas woke up too late to take his meds Wednesday and Thursday didn't help ( Read more... )
