So the laptop I bought less than a year ago is back at BestBuy.  Again.  I dropped it at BestBuy before I went to DC last month, Dom picked it back up and tried to retrieve any data he could (none to be found) and then brought it back on the 1st of July.  Best Buy sent my computer back to HP for a new hard drive...most corupt one Dom had ever seen ( Read more... )

So yesterday went from very bad to bad to better to happy.  First back story.  I have been taking Dom to work this week since I needed the car to run errands.

Ok.  I have had a busy and not so busy day.  I haven't done the basic things but I have done some bigger things.  I found someone who mowed my yard and fixed my mower for $40.  Woot!

I also bought Tom a laptop.  It was off Facebook yard-sale but he lives close by has GREAT specs and was the right price.  I may have trade with Tom.  Yes I like it ( Read more... )

I really wish I had thought of this sooner.

I downloaded the FireFox set-up files to a flash drive and installed them on my work computer.  HaHa I have internet again!  I hid the set-up files so he shouldn't be able to find them.

Sad part is I really just wanted it because I couldn't have it. Because he denied me access.

So neaner, neaner!

Right now I am on my new lap-top in bed!!!!

This was one of my good things that happened this week.  Tom bought me a lap top and a wireless router, so we can both be on the computer at the same time!!!  And now I can bring it downstairs with me at night when I am tired or just want to get away for awhile.

Last night my computer just stopped working.  No clue why or how.  We shut it down and re-booted after a few minutes.  It took forever to boot back up.  I mean like at least 10 minutes.  So he shut it down again and it took a lot less time to re-boot, but still more than usual ( Read more... )

 It's nice to have a quiet day...and get paid for it.  No Phones = no calls = quiet day at work.  I am so glad I still have internet though.   Looks like I will have time to catch up on reading LJ, e-mail, post, etc.  Of course that is all dependent on the fact that my dad isn't here.  If he comes in...maybe not.
