So I got my hair cut today. Short. I LOVE it. It's off my neck, it's off my face, it feels so light and airy.  I think it's cute and flattering.  Tom hates it. He said I'm still beautiful but I see the disappointment on his face. It makes me sad. I am loving this pattern. I have used all of the 5 and 10g minis I got from Stitches South as well as all of the greens from the green swap and I am now working on the 5g minis from the GnomeAcres swapless swap. I really like these yarns and the names of these colorways as well. So far I have used Polyjuice Potion

Yesterday we went out on the lake.  Theresa rented a cabin up on Douglas lake.  It was wonderful.  We went out on the lake in a pontoon boat.  Swam in the lake.  Had a great time.  BBQ was great.  I had forgotten how fun going out on the lake was.  The view was great, the people were great.  

I am in Kentucky right now.  Ella, Allison and I are on our way to Stitches mid-west in Chicago.  I got to spend a few hours with Liz and her friends Josh and Jess last night and will see her again for lunch today.  It is so nice to see her so happy.  She really needed to get out of TN ( Read more... )

Tonight we are doing girls night at my house. princess_luna, allils82 and me.  We are going to eat Thomas' lava cake and rootbeer  floats.   No clue what kind of real food we will have but junk food is nummy, nummy.

It's going to be wondrful.  I am looking forward to seeing allils82 again.

Right now I am on my new lap-top in bed!!!!

This was one of my good things that happened this week.  Tom bought me a lap top and a wireless router, so we can both be on the computer at the same time!!!  And now I can bring it downstairs with me at night when I am tired or just want to get away for awhile.

I had a great day with the boys at Splash Country yesterday.  Ellie finally gave us her host  season passes, now I have to go several more times to make them (and the upgrade to gold on mine) worth it.  I am definitely going to take them August 9th.  It's this first day of school...well it's an "abbreviated day" so basically they go in, pick up ( Read more... )
