Thomas came home today with a note from his teacher.

"To whom it may concern
Thomas has had meltdowns for the past two weeks. His behavior up to that point was fabulous. These last two weeks, Thomas has yelled at me, cried, sat in his seat and would do No work for me. I do not know why this change has occured. I thought you should know.

as a teacher, i'm curious to know why the teacher hasn't called you. not a note, but called. and that call should have been made after the first one, not after two weeks. this kind of crap is what makes for bad perception of teachers.

No, she is a great teacher, fairly new but very tolerant,Thomas likes her, and she is good with him, understands his problems and has always tried to work with me with him. My guess is that she hasn't called because she goes to my mother about him because she works (speech, lang, path.) at the same school and Thomas goes to and from school with her.
