We had a fantastic weekend at Mt Desert Island. Driving up on Friday night in the rain was a bit of a long ride--5 hours--and apparently it must have been Bring Your Alpaca on a Roadtrip Day, because I saw no less than four vanfuls of alpacas on their way to somewhere. Yesterday I walked into the kitchen and Dan threatened to paint me with the paint-roller. This would have been nothing new except then he called me "My Delicate Hibiscus" and started laughing hysterically. This was extremely weird, because Dan doesn't have the type of imagination that would lead to him calling me anything of the sort.
