What does the turtle say?
For Moira, the unnerving answer to this question is "Redrum". Exactly in the voice of the creepy kid in "The Shining."
In her "Big Animal Book" I point to the fish, she goes "blub blub!" The frog says "ribbit!" The elephant says "Wheeeeeeee!" Her horse is spot on.
I just couldn't figure out the turtle for the longest time until a couple of days ago, when I overheard Dan egging her on.
DAN:"Moira! REDRUM! REDRUM!"
Moira: "REDRUM! REDRUM!"
I suppose as long as no one chases me with an axe, I'm okay with it. And I guess that it's not as bad as her habit of running toward the playground shouting "DIE! DIE!" at the other children when she sees the slide.
