May wasn't exactly disastrous, but I sure didn't make any progress either. Graphs below show some satisfying improvement year- and quarter-to-date, and an ugly stagnation for the month of May.

It's that time of the month! I started April trending at 194.0, and ended it trending at 186.8, a delta of just -3.2 pounds. Not awesome, but understandable. I didn't work out nearly as much as I should have. Hell, I can't even say I used the treadmill at all this month ( Read more... )

I definitely have one bad stick of triple-channel RAM. When memtest86 hangs every time you start before one pass is even done, you know something's wrong. Memtest passes the other two DIMMs individually over dozens of passes. But why does it freak out and reboot with two of three DIMMs in?

So I was cheerful last week about saving up enough money to buy my new computer rig, yeah? It shouldn't surprise me at all that I'd regret the decision before the parts even arrived.

It looks like this month I started with a trend of around 202, and ended the month trending at 194. An 8-pound drop over the month of March, about the same loss as February.
