I love food, I'm a foodie.  But I don't want to have to be responsible for making 3 meals a day.  Too many to think about!   All the time I've working here at Del Vallejo there has been a teacher's cafeteria with a separate menu, and eating area.  Word went out today, that on Friday they'll be shutting it down.  You know what I had for lunch today ( Read more... )

Nearly 2 months since I last wrote, I've been so busy that I haven't really had time.  I spent 2 weeks in Hawai'i, 5 days in Waikiki, and 7 days in Kona.  Best part of the year so far.  I really wish I could go back ( Read more... )

It is a common joke to hear about how the dryer ate your sock, or even sweater.  But you never hear about the washer... Ladies and gentlemen, start checking your washers. Thursday was an awesome day.  With the interview news, and getting the house to myself (not that I don't love having my grandparents around, I do miss them).  So Thursday night, my mijo called, and actually made it over to my house.  He was so sweet, and awesome.  I wish he lived closer, so I could see him more often.  Such is my life I guess ( Read more... )
