HP fans on my flist, I urge you to go read the wonderful hoggywartyxmas fic that's been posted for me:  Love Accidentally, featuring an endearing Neville whose efforts to buy his Gran a Christmas present lead to his unknowingly playing the matchmaker. First of all, I'd like to rec the lovely gift I received in the rarepair_shorts Winter Exchange:  And the Lies, Well, He Clutched Them Close to His Heart (Snape/Lockhart from McGonagall's POV). The story does a fine job of mixing humour and sadness, and there are lots of funny, Snape-y lines.
