Yuletide! (Nominations rumoured to happen in early October)
So, who's doing Yuletide this year? Those of you who are regulars, are you game this year as well? Those who you who've considered it before, are you going to take the plunge? Which fandoms are you planning on requesting?
As for myself, I'd actually decided to swear off fests for a while, but Yuletide is just irresistible -- it's pretty much been the highlight of my fannish year, even since before I started participating. I've done it twice in a row now, and I love every single one of the gifts I've got so far. So I'm in, even though I find it a bit daunting to write in any fandom that's not HP (there, I said it).
This year, everyone gets to nominate three fandoms (as opposed to six), which I don't really mind, even if it means I may end up with only three requests. The hard part is, of course, to decide which three fandoms are going to make it, but that's hard anyway. *g* I'm already composing a Dear Yuletide Writer letter in my head...
