I'm feeling quite behind writing in LiveJournal. I've been too busy living, and loving it. Europe was great. Somebody was supposed to occupy the seat next to mine at York, but didn't turn up. So, I can spread out. It's also nice that the 'reserved' sign on the head of the seat shows whence and to where the seat is reserved... they were supposed to get off in 'Berwick on Tw', wherever that is. A quick post-I just wanted to share this experience about returning to Pisco. It was the usual drill: get off the coach in the suburb that the Pan America Highway goes through, and catch a collectivo for S/.1.50 downtown. (They're basically cars that go to a set destination when they fill up; S/.1.50 is about 50c, for a ride of several kilometres.)

The best massages I've had, at least out of the ones I've paid for, have been either at Harbin Hot Springs or in San Francisco. I've had some really good ones in Amsterdam, too, and Arizona. Then there's a loooong gap in rank above anything else.

I've finished my tenure at Pisco sin Fronteras now. I'm planning to be there another day or two before I skip the country, partially so I can properly earth those water heaters like I always said I would, and partially so I can visit the family I built the baño for, and see how it works when the City finally connects water to their property.
