I'm in Spain, most of the way between Barcelona and Valencia. Two or three hundred kilometres ago I had to stop at a toll both. I was worried because nobody was there-shit, am I supposed to have some kind of toll pass? But a machine spat a ticket at me, so ( Read more... )

Bush hats are brilliant right up until the point when you have occasion to speak to someone considerably shorter than you, when you tilt your head and the unfortunate shorty gets drenched by the accumulated puddle on the brim.

I speak from LONG experience - d_floorlandmine is fond of the stockman-coat-and-hat combo.

I feel like I've just had a little mini-international trip (without the monetary expense)! :D

Bummer about the GPS on your phone. I find that my iPhone really sucks in metro and rural hilly areas. :-/

Yeah, phone GPS isn't as good as the dedicated GPS units of old. That's why I still have one. ;)
