Ten Day Meme: Day One (and flying back to the U.S.)
I'm feeling quite behind writing in LiveJournal. I've been too busy living, and loving it. Europe was great. It was also amazing to spend a few weeks with good friends and even some biofam, after a couple of months of not seeing anyone I really knew at all, with one notable 1½-week exception. Flying back to a anaisdjuna-less Georgia (the state, not the country-she's actually closer to the country at the moment) is giving me a bit of an empty feeling, but I'm also excited about having time to do stuff. I'm also very grateful for her letting me stay at her place while she's gone.
But to break up all the what-I've-been-doing and photo posts, I'm going to participate in a meme I saw in gailmom's LJ. I like it, because instead of being a bunch of not-that-interesting one-line answers, it's a set of answers over ten days:

Day One is actually hard, but I think I have to say hopeforyou. In previous times I've been away from her for so long, LiveJournal is what kept us in touch, and I miss her. I know LJ has become much less important in her life, though, so I'm not expecting her to comment or even read this, nor will I be upset if she doesn't. But I hope she does.
I'm also at a loss to explain why orange juice on Alitalia is the colour of V8.
